What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Existing substantive member of a senior leadership team
  • Successful experience at Senior Leadership level within a special school as either Assistant Head teacher or Deputy Head teacher level
  • Experience of working successfully and co-operatively as a member of a team in a school
  • Experience of managing the requirements of the SEN Code of Practice
  • Experience of the successful management of change
  • Experience of successfully raising pupil achievement
