Head of School job summary

As Head of School, you will:

  • Work closely with the Executive Headteacher to drive school improvement and maintain high standards.
  • Lead on teaching and learning, ensuring an engaging and inclusive curriculum.
  • Support staff professional learning and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Champion safeguarding and wellbeing for all pupils.
  • Be a visible, approachable leader who inspires confidence in pupils, staff, and families.
  • Be the day-to-day face of the school for parents, pupils and staff.
  • Support the work of the Executive Headteacher across more than one school as required.
