Head of School job summary

The day to day running of the school.
To carry out the duties of this post in line with the remit outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document including the conditions of employment for Deputy Headteachers and the school’s own policies.
To assist the Executive Headteacher in the organisation, management and development of the school, carrying out specific duties including responsibility for SEND.
To carry out teaching duties as required.
To assume responsibilities of the Headteacher in the absence of the Headteacher.
To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school. To be part of the Designated Safeguarding Team for the school.
