Head of School job summary
We are looking for an aspiring senior leader who is ready to take their next step in their teaching career and who wants to do this in a supportive academy.
As Head of School you will have the passion and drive to support the Executive Headteacher with the day to day leadership of the school. You will be able to motivate staff, pupils and families to share the ambitions and high expectations for the school. You will promote and support the vision and direction of Welford, Sibbertoft and Sulby Endowed School enabling it to build on its successes and provide high quality education for all pupils.
The successful candidate will be someone who:
· has recent, successful teaching and middle / senior leadership experience looking for an opportunity to take the next step in their leadership career
· shows a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
· has the skills to lead, improve and sustain academic achievement for all children
· is willing to embrace and develop the Christian ethos of the school
· has a flexible approach to working
· is driven, ambitious and enthusiastic.

Welford, Sibbertoft and Sulby Endowed School (WSSES) is a small village primary school that caters for children between the ages of 4–11 situated in the village of Welford, Northamptonshire. Welford is a large village with a population of approximately 1000. It is located on the county boundary of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. The school principally serves the areas of Welford, Sibbertoft, Sulby and Elkington as well as receiving children from surrounding farms and other local villages.
