Head of School job summary

We are looking to appoint an innovative, dynamic Head of School to join the team at Ashley Hill Multi Academy Trust to lead one of its three schools, White Waltham CE Academy. This sought after primary school is set in attractive grounds in the small rural village of White Waltham with good commuter links. As part of the Ashley Hill Multi Academy Trust you will work with and be supported by a team of caring colleagues. The staff and pupils would like a Head of School who is: kind and caring, welcoming, fair, approachable and especially somebody who shows enjoyment of life, and enjoys being hands on and involved in their learning!
You will be working with a well-established team that are always willing to go the extra mile and a school which is being left in a good position. As a Trust team of staff, pupils, parents, directors and governors we live out our Trust ethos encouraging one another and building each other up. We work together to ensure our pupils become confident, independent learners who are happy to be risk takers who will achieve and succeed.
White Waltham CE Academy is a one form entry primary school of 210 pupils, supported by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the Diocese of Oxford. We are proud to have received ‘Excellent’ in our recent SIAMS inspection and ‘Good’ from Ofsted. Our academic achievements are consistently high; we stretch all pupils to succed regardless of their ability.

You should:
