Further details about the role

Our pupils are well motivated and staff morale is excellent. The school has consistently been rated by Ofsted as Outstanding over very many years. All students have iPads for learning which are used in science lessons for note taking, animations and recording practical observations. The department has 5 science technicians alongside 22 subject specialists. From 2024 the department will be adding environmental science A level to sit alongside the traditional science A level subjects. The pupils are all taught in mixed ability groups and the department believe all pupils have the right to access separate science GCSE which is selected as an option subject.
