Head of Science job summary
Following the promotion of our current Head of Science, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic leader to take on the Head of Science role at King Edward VI School. The successful candidate will lead a large team of specialist practitioners and dedicated technicians with access to excellent facilities and the opportunity to work with enthusiastic and committed students.
We are looking for an exceptional practitioner with significant experience in subject leadership. The successful candidate will have a pro-active, innovative approach and excellent communication skills. The Head of Science has a strategic role in shaping the development of the department and maximising achievement. Applications are welcome from candidates who are able to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics to A-level.
