Samuel Ryder Academy is rapidly expanding, and seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Science to teach across the age and ability range. This post offers the opportunity to lead the faculty as it expands and grows with new opportunities.
OFSTED inspected the Academy in May 2016 and judged the school to be GOOD with Leadership and Management graded OUTSTANDING. Samuel Ryder offers the successful candidate an inspiring and rewarding role.
The Academy has a clear vision and ethos which has led to outstanding results and is the school of choice for local parents. Our specialisms are English and New Technologies, and as a Regional Training Centre for Apple, we have innovative use of iPad technology across the school. There are excellent facilities for both staff and students.
The successful applicant will have a clear vision for the faculty and the strategic leadership skills to deliver further innovation. You will be an outstanding practitioner who has the vision, energy and drive to further improve standards of achievement and ensure teaching is of the highest standard across all key stages.
