St Thomas More Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a passionate Head of Science to join their hardworking team of staff.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of a committed and dedicated middle leadership team, and to lead a department where collaboration and teamwork is a real strength. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Science specialist who enjoys a challenge and will inspire and motivate students, generating enthusiasm for learning. You must have the capability to motivate students of all ages and abilities, to inspire and lead your team, driving up standards in teaching and learning. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to raise attainment at all levels are key aspects of the role.
St Thomas More is a small popular Catholic 11 to 16 High School in the beautiful town of Buxton in Derbyshire; within easy access from Cheshire, Manchester, Staffordshire and Stockport as well as Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
