Salary: £37,667 - £48,857 (Ark MPS AM1 - AM6)

The Role:
You will be a Qualified Teacher with day-to-day responsibilities to oversee the operation of the SEND provision at Ark Bolingbroke Academy and lead a team of highly motivated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). You will also lead SEND and inclusion interventions with and through Heads of Year and the Inclusion Team to support our most vulnerable pupils.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to work in a confidential manner
- A flexible and proactive in approach
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students
- The ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing
- Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proven IT and keyboard skills
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team with interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage challenging behaviour
- Experience in working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, emotional, social and behaviour needs
- Experience in supporting the learning needs of pupils
