The Role
We are seeking to appoint a talented and passionate Head of Sixth Form to join our extended leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and ambitious teacher to provide strategic leadership and management for the Sixth Form, ensuring that it delivers outstanding provision and achievement for all students.
Our Sixth Form is thriving with over 300 students. Our dedication to them extends beyond their results. We place a strong emphasis on ensuring that all students leave us with the knowledge, skills and experience required to flourish in their future destinations.
Shoreham is an Outstanding school located in the heart of the communities in Shoreham and Southwick. About You
You will be an outstanding classroom teacher, possessing excellent interpersonal skills with relevant experience and knowledge of what a Head of Sixth Form role involves. Applications are welcome from all subject areas.
You will be able to demonstrate a record of accomplishment in leading and motivating successful academic and pastoral teams, as a team player who thrives on challenge.
You will have the highest expectations of yourself and those around you, being a role model and leading by example to provide an outstanding climate for learning and development.
You will have the ability to motivate and inspire students, staff, parents and the wider community. You will ensure all students are respectful of others and confident of their own ability to achieve beyond their expectations.
