Head of Social Science job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Social Science Teacher who is aspiring to become a Head of Department.

Queensmead is an ‘outstanding’, oversubscribed 11-18 mixed academy school where students achieve highly and display ‘exemplary behaviour’ (Ofsted). Our Social Science Department is comprised of experienced, enthusiastic and engaging teachers. Queensmead School has achieved 76% 9-4 in English and Maths and is looking to build on this success.

The ideal candidate would be required to teach Sociology to A Level and to be able to offer either Psychology, Criminology and/or Health and Social Care.

For the right candidate there is the opportunity to oversee the Religious Studies Department.
