Potential opportunity for an additional leadership role as Raising Standards Leader of Post 16 for an exceptionally experienced candidate
Starting – June or September 2025
Aston Manor Academy are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic Teacher of Psychology and to lead the Social Sciences Department. The successful candidate will first and foremost be an excellent classroom practitioner, who has enthusiasm for their subject, is able to motivate and inspire students and will further support the high achievements of the department.
This role is to support, be held accountable, develop and lead a team of staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning and the wellbeing of staff and students within the Social Sciences department, so that students make appropriate progress.
There is also an opportunity for an exceptionally experienced candidate to be the Raising Standards Leader of Post-16 where you will support the sixth form team in leading and developing the enrichment programme for sixth form students which will include work experience and raising aspirations through various outreach programmes. Monitoring of student academic progress through analysis of student data at regular intervals will be another key facet to the role.
