CORE Education Trust is a values-driven multi-academy trust rich in cultural and social diversity. This role will be based at Rockwood Academy which is an 11-16 co-educational school. You will be joining an academy team whose sole aim is to ensure that all students get the very best support, care and guidance that enables them to achieve their very best.

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Visual Arts and Design to build upon our strengths and lead the Visual Arts and Design department forward on the next stage of our journey.
The successful candidate will be passionate and be able to demonstrate how they will drive the standards, expectations and aspirations of staff and students alike to ensure that there is regular success and a sense of progression.
You must be a strong role model for staff within Visual Arts and Design and direct the pedagogy and methodology of delivery for all lessons within Visual Arts and Design. The successful applicant will demonstrate an understanding of the value of providing our students with a broad educational experience, where high academic standards are supported by a rich variety of extended curriculum options.
