Head of Year 10
We require from Easter 2020 an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher to join the Student Services team as Head of Year 10. We are seeking an excellent, highly qualified and well-organised teacher with experience in the pastoral work of a school, who is able to communicate an enthusiasm for learning and foster a strong parent partnership. Applicants should have credibility with colleagues, students and parents and a proven track record of diffusing volatile/challenging people and responding to vulnerable students. The capacity to prioritise, delegate and utilise support is also a key requirement.
The Student Services team currently comprises three Heads of School, seven Heads of Year and two Pastoral Leads who are all committed to raising students’ aspirations and achievements. The Heads of Year work on rotation, moving each September with their year group up to the Sixth Form, then returning to Year 7.
