About the role:
We are looking to appoint an excellent leader to join our Sixth Form as Head of Year 13. You would be joining a highly successful and competitive Key Stage 5 provider. We are looking for an ambitious leader who can take a key role in the day to day running of the sixth form through purposeful leadership by building strong relationships with students, parents and staff and continuing to drive up sixth form standards and destination ambitions.
The ideal candidate will:
- Will be an outstanding teacher of their subject area.
- Be experienced in raising attainment for this age group.
- Have proven experience of work successfully with students of all abilities.
- Be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses and the belief that every child can succeed.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- become part of a team of an ‘Outstanding’ all-through academy
- join a highly successful sixth form team that has an exceptional track record for training and developing teachers and student leaders
- access continuous staff development. We have a minimum of 10 training days and weekly in school sessions of a high standard. We strongly support NPQML, NPQSL and Lead Practitioner course.
