Head of Year and Teacher of Science job summary
The Priory School is looking for someone with initiative and dedication to teaching students of all abilities as well as a willingness to contribute to the full range of extracurricular activities.
The Head of Year's main responsibilities will be:
Be responsible for and lead a year group
Provide pastoral support and guidance
To engage with key stakeholders including staff, parents, carers and outside agencies
To support students and families to identify barriers to learning and agree a way forward
Having overview of their year groups attendance and interventions in place to support where necessary
Provide general pastoral administrative support as appropriate according to the needs of student and the school.
