What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, inspirational and skilful head of year. The main responsibilities of the role include, for the year group:
Managing the tutors, and leading on the tutor programme
Leading on rewards and celebrations
Leading assemblies
Overseeing the professional development curriculum, including careers
Overseeing the extra-curricular offers available Writing Additional Needs Plans
Conducting student voice
Ensuring good behaviour
The role also includes teaching responsibility and this can be from any subject.
We aim to recruit staff who:

Will subscribe to the ethos of the Academy and be committed to get the very best from our students;
