What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Head of Year to work within the school’s established and effective Pastoral Team and lead a cohort of 240 pupils.

Taking key responsibility for a whole year group, the Head of Year will promote the excellent behaviour, personal development, progress and welfare of all pupils so that they can realise their full potential. The post-holder will have a visible presence as the lead figure for their allocated year group and will promote high expectations, high standards and a positive culture and ethos that praises and celebrates all aspects of pupil achievement.

The position offers professional challenge and reward in equal measure and is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about enabling all children to make the most of their education.
