Head of Year job summary
Due to the promotion of one of Heads of Year to Assistant Headteacher, we are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who has considerable knowledge and practical experience of leading across the Primary environment. It is essential that you have drive and passion for learning and can demonstrate that you make a difference to the outcomes for children and adults.
You will already be:
an excellent classroom practitioner with a commitment to high standards and expectations who can lead by example
able to skilfully build relationships quickly and challenge everyone to achieve the highest of standards in all that they do
a commitment to developing individual staff and school teams through evidence informed practice
have knowledge of leading Safeguarding in a classroom environment
focussed on data analysis to a deep level to support understanding of pedagogical developments needed to ensure the best outcomes for all
committed to providing the best opportunities for every child by building strong relationships with them and their family
passionate about developing resilient and well-educated citizens
creative, dynamic and inspirational with a positive attitude and able work collaboratively with the Headteacher, Leadership Team and Governors to realise our vision of being outstanding
