Moorside High School, part of Consilium Academies, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head of Year to join our pastoral team. About the Role
As Head of Year, you will:
- Lead and support a team of Form Tutors
- Promote high standards of attendance, behaviour and achievement
- Provide pastoral care, guidance and intervention for students
- Build strong relationships with families, staff and external agencies
- Lead assemblies, year group initiatives and student support strategies
- Help create a positive and inclusive culture where every student can succeed

We are seeking someone who:
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Can motivate and inspire young people
- Is calm, resilient and solution-focused
- Has experience working with young people and families
- Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and student wellbeing
Experience within a school or pastoral setting is highly desirable.
