Head of Year (Non-Teaching) job summary
At Stowmarket High School we believe all students should ‘Work

We
wish to appoint a dedicated, outstanding and inspirational Head of Year, with a
proven record in pastoral care, to play a key role in the next phase of our
development as a school. This role is 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
We are looking for someone who:

has high expectations of
behaviour and committed to driving high standards across the school
· has the ability to build good relationships with all students and parents
·
has a proven track record of
pastoral leadership and raising standards within a school

Stowmarket High School is situated in picturesque mid Suffolk with excellent commuter links to Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich. We are an inclusive 11 – 18 Academy and part of Waveney Valley Academies Trust. 6th Form is currently not being offered. Construction of a new school is now complete on our current site and we have moved into our new state of the art school.
