Head of Year job summary
The role:
You will responsible for setting and maintaining of the high standards of behaviour, uniform, attendance and attitude to learning for the year group as well as leading and developing a team of tutors to effectively monitor and support the overall progress and development of the year group. You will also have responsibility for the transition process from one year to the next.
About You:
We are looking for someone who can evidence ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ classroom teaching; previous people management experience and Head of Year experience.
You must have high professional standards, the ability to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents and can motivate pupils to improve and sustain attendance, behaviour and strive for success.
