  • Support the attendance officer to improve attendance for pupils on targeted interventions.
  • Work with the SENCO to identify pupils in need of additional support and develop individual support plans.
  • Contribute to the development of whole-school pastoral care policies.
  • Participate in senior leadership meetings and assist with safeguarding.

Working with Parents/Carers and External Agencies:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for parents/carers regarding pastoral and behavioural issues.
  • Keep parents/carers informed about their child’s behaviour, progress, and attendance.
  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers to ensure family involvement in their child’s development.
  • Liaise with external agencies to meet the individual needs of pupils.

Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of interventions and meetings.
  • Ensure the transfer of relevant pupil information inside and outside the school.
  • Ensure that pupil medical information is updated and that staff are aware of individual medical needs.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in support of the DSL and Lead Deputy DSL.
  • Follow statutory safeguarding guidance and promote the safeguarding of all pupils in the school.

We are looking for someone who:

What we offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive school community.
  • Opportunities for professional development.
  • A chance to make a real difference in the lives of students.
  • Healthcare plan

If you are ready to join a passionate team and help create a positive, supportive environment for our pupils, we would love to hear from you.
