Head of Year job summary
37 hour week, term time plus 1 week

We are looking to add to our excellent pastoral team and are seeking to appoint a Head of Year (a non-teaching post). The role would initially be Head of Year 9 but from September becoming Head of Year 10. You would be working as part of a well-established Pastoral Team who are supportive and work collegiately.
Applicants should have a passion for working with young people and be prepared to challenge and support our students as and when required. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that pupils’ behaviour and academic performance are maintained at the highest possible level and that students feel safe and supported within school. You will need to be very well organised, with an excellent work ethic as well as an effective communicator working with staff, students and parents.
