Head of Year job summary
The Taunton Academy is looking for an ambitious, experienced, dedicated and inspirational teacher who shares the vision and values of the school to take up the post of Head of Year in September. We wish to appoint someone who has high expectations of behaviour, can demonstrate excellent teaching and classroom management skills, has the ability to build good relationships with all students and parents and has a proven track record of pastoral leadership and raising standards within a school. We will welcome applications from any subject areas as we are keen to secure the best person for the post but are particularly interested in those with a background in Maths, Science, PE, Art and RE.
