What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to the continued growth of The Wellington Academy, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Year, to join the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for a more experienced teacher to join an enthusiastic, committed, and successful team. Who can teach across the whole age and ability range up to and including GCSE’s and A- Levels, we are keen to hear from Teachers across any subject in our curriculum.

We are totallycommittedto peer support and sharing for all teachers within The Wellington Academy. There is a true sense and palpable feel confidence in our development and continued direction of travel from the ‘Good’ in all areas Ofsted inspection in October 2022.

  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • Recent experience of teaching at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Effective management of teaching assistants and other assigned adults
