Head Teacher job summary
Eldersfield Lawn CE Primary School is a successful and popular school situated in the beautiful surroundings of Corse Lawn Common, on the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire borders. Everyone involved with the school, whether as a pupil, member of staff, governor, or parent, is proud to be associated with it.
The school has a long and successful history, recently celebrating its 150th anniversary which we marked with a day of events supported by current and past pupils and teachers, as well as many from the local community. This community spirit is very much at the heart of the school’s ethos and values, closely linked as it is to the Christian nature of our setting.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational educator and leader, who will maintain our Christian ethos and continue to develop the distinctively Christian nature of our school. We are also looking for a headteacher who can build on our early stages of COVID recovery, taking the whole school community with them.

At Eldersfield Lawn C of E (VC) School we provide a caring, safe, and secure environment where children are able to gain and develop the skills to become happy, healthy, independent individuals. We are situated in the beautiful surroundings of Corse Lawn Common, located on the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire borders. The children who attend the school live largely in Eldersfield and Corse Lawn as well as other nearby villages; when they move on, there is a choice of secondary schools including Hanley Castle, Tewkesbury, Newent and the Gloucestershire Grammar Schools.
