Thank you for considering our Head Teacher vacancy at Islamia Primary School.
We are seeking an experienced school leader who is dedicated to providing a challenging, broad and rich curriculum in all its aspects. The prospective candidate should be an outstanding leader and primary practitioner who has the passion; skills and determination to rapidly improve pupil outcomes for all groups of pupils in the school.
We are looking for a committed leader with a proven track record of leading and supporting children to outstanding achievements.
Someone who is passionate about our ethos, values and shares our vision, someone who will ‘go the extra mile’ to achieve progress and attainment for all groups of pupils.
The role will focus on raising standards through frequent monitoring and evaluation, continuous feedback and support to staff, extensive use of pupil performance data, curriculum development and design.

Islamia Primary School (established in 1983) is a two form entry voluntary-aided school with a religious character situated in North West London. Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum enhanced by Qur'anic, Arabic and Islamic Studies in a secure Islamic environment through the application of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
The school is currently operating across 2 sites with pupils from Reception, Year 1,2,5,and 6 at the main Salusbury Road site and Year 3-4 based across the road at Winkworth Hall.
Ofsted has awarded the school ‘Good’ in its last 2 inspections. Our school aspires to be nothing short of outstanding in all aspects of school life and we work hard to nurture and produce a generation that contributes positively to the wider community.
The Board of Governors is very active in constantly striving to improve outcomes for the staff and children of the school.
