Due to the retirement of our highly regarded Head Teacher the children, staff and governors of St James CE Primary School are now seeking to appoint an outstanding leader who will embrace both the strengths of the past and rise to the challenges of the future, bringing drive and ambition and providing the highest standard of leadership.
We are looking for a Head Teacher who:
- Understands and will promote our strong Christian ethos and values to ensure they will continue to flourish within the diverse community
- Is a team player with high expectations of themselves, staff and pupils so, that our children benefit from the highest standard of teaching to prepare them for an ever-changing world
- Has the vision, passion and enthusiasm to motivate and inspire everyone to be the best they can be
- Actively encourages parents to be involved in their child’s education
- Will ensure the importance of academic progress is accompanied by opportunities to develop social, creative and sporting skills
- Has an excellent understanding of safeguarding and is fully committed to inclusion, equality & diversity
- Will provide the highest levels of support for staff well-being and for their professional development while ensuring that all staff are respected and valued

Salary Group 3 – L18 – L24A (£71,019 – £82,258)
