About St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Lancaster
St. Joseph’s school is situated in the environs of the historic city of Lancaster.
To the north is the beautiful National Park of the Lake District and to the south east is the Trough of Bowland which is also very beautiful.
Lancaster is close to the M6 motorway and is on the main west coast train line which makes travelling to London, Glasgow or Edinburgh very accessible.
At the present time the school needs an inspirational person to lead it out of ‘special measures’ and to prepare it to join a new Multi Academy Trust which is being set up by the Diocese of Lancaster. This is an exciting time both in the life of the school and the Diocese.
This is a happy school which prides itself on being a family supporting one another.
The school is seen to be very much part of a forward- thinking parish and benefits from the prayer life, liturgy and support gained from this close relationship.
At the heart of St. Joseph’s school is the love and care given to the children who the staff believe to be amazing and precious in the eyes of Christ.
