The Governors of Upperby Primary school wish to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Headteacher for our school.
Our last Ofsted inspection December ‘22 graded Upperby Primary School as good We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Headteacher to continue to lead a successful, happy and safe school.

Our school serves the south of Carlisle, with 375 children currently attending. Our experienced teaching staff are committed to providing a stimulating and creative curriculum within a nurturing environment, placing high priority on ensuring our children feel happy and safe. We place great importance on academic excellence and ensuring we can develop aspirations for all our children, so that they are able to achieve and be the best that they can be. We enrich our children’s education through a wide range of activities, such as school choir, music tuition, visitors and trips. Children in Key Stage 2 are able to attend a range of residential experiences. We are an inclusive school meeting the differing needs of children.
