Crich Carr C of E Primary School is a small school situated in the beautiful village of Whatstandwell, near to the Cromford Canal & the river Derwent. The village has access to good road and rail links.

The school is located in the village of Whatstandwell, near the town of Matlock. The school is in a beautiful conservation area with good access to major roads and railway.
The school is located in two well-maintained buildings dating back to 1884.The buildings house 4 classrooms, a breakfast and after school club, a library/resource area and an office.
We have a beautiful outdoor area consisting of a hard surface play area, including a traversing wall and two all-weather surfaces including climbing equipment. There is a woodland area that is utilised for Forest Schools activities, a school field and allotment.
Most pupils that attend Crich Carr C of E Primary School from the normal area transfer to Anthony Gell Secondary School in Wirksworth.
