What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a Headteacher who:

  • Has energy, drive and commitment to maintain high aspirations for pupils, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to face the challenges of the ever-changing world.
  • Will have high expectations in continuing to develop the curriculum model, and the existing wide-ranging learning opportunities for all children.
  • Will continue to forge strong relationships with families, carers, church and the wider community who work in partnership with the school.
  • Will lead the school in its mission to continue to offer an excellent education within a framework of Christian values and beliefs.
  • Has proven experience of delivering improvements and embedding successful practice.
  • Is an exceptional classroom practitioner with an infectious curiosity and love of learning, with the leadership skills to deliver good quality continuing professional development.
  • Provides inspirational leadership, ensuring delivery of educational excellence through the highest possible standards of teaching and learning
  • Will strengthen and improve upon our reputation as a caring, nurturing and inclusive school, with a particular focus on staff and pupil well-being.
  • Understands the varied demands and valuable rewards of running a small school.
