What skills and experience we're looking for

  • A practicising Catholic
  • Evidence of appropriate professional development for the role of headteacher

    Evidence of recent leadership and management professional development

    Up to date safeguarding training and knowledge of legislation for the protection of young people

  • Recent successful senior leadership e.g., a deputy headteacher, assistant headteacher or acting headteacher

    Evidence of successfully leading school improvement

    Evidence of the application of strategies to review, implement, evaluate and improve learning and teaching

    Experience of working constructively with parents

    Experience of monitoring staff performance

    Experience of effective budget management and financial analysis

    The ability to provide advice and support to the Local Governing Body to enable it to meet its responsibilities
