Shortlisting and interviews
Shortlisting will take place soon after the closing date after which all applicants will be contacted. Information about the interview days will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
References will be taken up upon shortlisting. Candidates who are currently Deputy or Assistant Head Teachers are expected to name their current Head Teacher as a reference, whereas current Head Teachers are requested to provide contact details for their Chair of Governors. Candidates must also provide the name of a referee who can support their Church affiliation.
Appointment
The successful candidate may be appointed to the role from 1st January 2025 or earlier,subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS clearance.
This post carries a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the successful candidate has a personal commitment to the designation of the school as an adherent to the Evangelical Alliance and Assemblies of God statements of faith.
