Headteacher job summary

We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and visionary leader to be our next Headteacher at Chesterton Primary School. This post would suit either an experienced Headteacher or an experienced senior leader ready to take their next step into headship.

At Chesterton Primary, our motto is 'Building aspiration, overcoming barriers and celebrating diversity in our community, learning and relationships.' The school provides education for 181 children aged from 3 to 11 years. The school has a committed staff team and it benefits from being part of the Active Learning Trust, a Trust who are keen to ensure that each of its schools retains its individuality and responds to the needs of its local community.

The Active Learning Trust is people focused and as one of our Headteachers, you will be supported by a dedicated central team, made up of both education professionals and business professionals.

We are looking for a Headteacher who will:
