• Significant experience of leading a school as a deputy, assistant head or headteacher and an ability to motivate and inspire staff and pupils
• A willingness to work collaboratively with staff and governors to maintain the standards and ethos of the school
• A strong commitment to inclusion and a well-developed understanding of how to deliver this for all pupils, to ensure every child achieves their full potential
• An ability to create a safe, challenging and caring environment which enables our pupils to develop as enthusiastic, independent and resilient learners
• A deep understanding of, and commitment to, our values and vision

Burton on-the-Wolds is a very special place to work and learn. We have 191 children on roll who are taught in single age group classes. We are situated in the small village of Burton-on-the-Wolds near to Loughborough, Leicestershire.
The school has extensive grounds and we have access to the village plantation for our Forest Schools sessions. We work closely with five other schools in the local area (Foxes Collaborative) to provide wider opportunities for our children and to improve teaching and learning in our schools.
Our school was judged as 'outstanding' in 2018 by Ofsted and we continue to develop our inspiration curriculum offer to ensure that we meet our aims of "Inspire, Nurture, Flourish".
