We are seeking the next Headteacher of Ashcombe Primary School.
If you are an experienced Headteacher/Senior Leader, with a track record of strong school leadership, are passionate about education and are looking for the next stage of your career, then Ashcombe is an exciting opportunity.
What the school offers its staff
We are a large, 3 form entry, Primary School with 630 pupils. We have a team of dedicated staff and wonderful children. Ashcombe has a modern building which is set in spacious grounds. The school successfully secured an Emergency Funding Bid of £6,000,000 for a new extension. The school is outward looking and innovative.
This is an exciting time for Ashcombe, as well as its new building, it is working in partnership with the Hargreaves Foundation and the funding received from them is supporting interventions, professional development from leading experts and creating a Literacy Hub. Ashcombe achieved a ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted inspection.
We have a team of motivated and skilled staff working with wonderful children. We are looking for a candidate with vision and passion to lead our school into the future.
Ashcombe is a founding member of the Kaleidoscope Multi-Academy Trust. We have a collaborative approach to developing high quality, evidence-based practice across our schools. The successful candidate will be able to play an important role within the Kaleidoscope team.
