Job summary
Due to the retirement of our current Headteacher, the Trustees of Waseley Hills High School are looking to appoint a passionate and progressive leader who will share our vision and ambition for Waseley Hills, its students and our community.
We are looking for an inspiring, challenging leader with the vision to take the school to the next level. The successful candidate will have a commitment to an inclusive school in which every student is successful. “Aspire, Invest, Respect”.

Formal letter of application
A formal letter of application should be submitted. This should be no more than two sides of A4 (size 10 – 12 font). Please explain why you are applying for the position and how your experience, personal qualities and skills help to make you a suitable candidate. You must demonstrate you meet all the essential criteria on the person specification as a minimum
Additional document describing Headship
In addition to your covering letter and application form, we would like you to describe, in no more than 1000 words, what you might expect to do or achieve in your first 100 days of Headship at Waseley Hills High School.
Selection Process
All applications will be acknowledged by email.
Applications will be ranked against the person specification for the role.
Applicants who have been shortlisted for the post will be notified by Wednesday 19th May
Prior to the interview date, referees will be contacted to requested references on all longlisted candidates.
2 days of interview will take place on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th May 2021.
