Headteacher job summary
Due to internal promotion within the Trust, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher and leader who can continue to embed and further develop high-quality teaching and learning across the school.

The Federation of Barnehurst Schools is a two-form entry school made up of Barnehurst Infants and Nursery and Barnehurst Juniors. Both are oversubscribed, outstanding schools that value their community and have built a strong reputation for excellence over the years.

About You
You will be experienced as a Headteacher or Deputy Head, looking for a new environment to apply and adapt your leadership expertise.
You will:
- Able to provide visionary leadership and uphold the school’s ethos of compassion, inclusion, and high expectations.
- Lead and develop a skilled multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding, while being committed to pupil outcomes, staff development, collaboration, equity and community engagement.
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Have a deep understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, and educational standards.
- A confident communicator and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of SEND.
- Skilled in strategic planning, change management, and nurturing school culture.
