What skills and experience we're looking for

Pupils, staff and governors of Barton St Lawrence CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, inspirational and ambitious Headteacher with proven excellence in teaching pupils in the primary phase. We are looking for a dynamic leader to continue to move the School forward and to bring enthusiasm, leadership and creativity to the role.

A practising Christian with a strong faith commitment?
An inspiring leader who can share and clearly communicate ambitions for the long-term future and development of our school, bringing new perspectives and initiatives to continue our school’s current success and build upon our high standards?
A reflective and understanding leader who can guide, support and develop the full potential of our whole school team by motivating staff to maintain and develop innovative teaching and learning?
Able to nurture a life-long love of learning, enabling all children to develop and discover the champion within?
Able to recognise the added value and benefit of opportunities outside the classroom and foster the best possible outcomes for each and every child? Committed to safeguarding and to the welfare and wellbeing of staff and pupils?
Able to promote strong and positive relationships within the School, Church and community?
