We are looking for a dynamic and effective leader, communicator and team builder with the vision, ability and drive to inspire, motivate and influence pupils, staff and stakeholders, ensuring successful and sustainable school improvement. If you are ready to meet these exciting challenges, we look forward to receiving your application. We welcome applications from external applicants, from both candidates with experience of headship or from aspiring headteachers.

  • enable all pupils to achieve their potential during their time at the school, ensuring that they leave school as mature, rounded, resilient individuals, ready to take their places as active citizens ready for secondary school
  • be committed to the delivery of the highest standard of teaching and learning across The Pioneer Academy, including the professional development of our staff

Belvedere Junior School is a 3 form entry junior school within The Pioneer Academy. Our motto is Nurture – Inspire - Achieve which is at the heart of every decision we make. Belvedere Junior School is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities.

We provide a safe, caring and fun environment where every child is encouraged to be the best they can be. The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.

The school has a dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with parents, the local community and the other schools in The Pioneer Academy Trust. Our most recent Ofsted inspection, which graded the school as Good, recognised that 'this is a school serving its community by providing the best opportunities for children'.

Belvedere Junior School is part of The Pioneer Academy Trust which is an academy trust with schools across London and the South East. At The Pioneer Academy, we put children first, pioneering excellence and championing each and every child. All our schools, ranging from small infant schools to large primary schools, work collaboratively, sharing resources and expertise.
