We are looking for a headteacher who will:
- build on the good work already begun
- embody and promote our church school’s ethos and vision
- be approachable, with an open-door policy, working collaboratively with others
- develop the excellent provision for our children and deepen the mutual care and support that characterizes our staff team
- champion children as individual learners, combining experience with openness to new pedagogical insights as we develop our rich, diverse, and inclusive curriculum
- inspire the whole school community by setting clear standards and fair expectations.
We can offer you:
- A school community that is happy and at ease with itself, and which lives out its Christian ethos and values on a day-to-day basis
- An experienced SLT, and an excellent wider staff team with considerable expertise and creativity, who enjoy working together and care deeply for our pupils
- Children who are keen to learn, behave well, and care for each other
- The support, opportunities and professional challenge that arise from being a member of ODST
- A local governing body which is very much part of the school team, committed to growing new and developed leaders, and focused on staff and children’s wellbeing
- The opportunity to explore and enhance your own collaborative leadership as the school adjusts to meet the needs of a growing village in future years.
