We are looking for an experienced Leader to support the staff, pupils and families so we make sure all our children and young people continue to thrive and reach their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspirational leader within specialist education to lead the way in transforming the lives of young people on the autistic spectrum and develop a true community school which is linked with community groups, parents/carers, local authorities, and other schools in the region.
Essential educational requirements
Graduate or equivalent
Evidence of continuous professional development
Essential qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status
Essential skills and experience
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Special Education including Education & Health Care Planning
Substantial and successful teaching experience in Special Education
Wide knowledge of current issues related to SEND/Autism
Proven ability in improving outcomes for pupils with SEND/Autism
Experience across the appropriate age range
Thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum
Demonstrable experience of senior leadership in education
