Blackburn Primary is at the heart of a warm and welcoming community. We are proud of our children and seek, through our curriculum, to inspire them to make a positive contribution to society.
We are looking for an aspirational, nurturing and emotionally intelligent leader who will build upon our existing strengths to ensure the school delivers the very best possible outcomes for our children. Our new headteacher will:
- be committed to the personal development and wellbeing of all our pupils and staff
- have senior leadership experience and the ability to demonstrate involvement in whole school improvement
- maintain and further develop our strong links with parents and the wider community
- be able to articulate a progressive vision for the school and have the skills and qualities to take our staff with them on that journey
What the school offers its staff
In return, we can offer the successful candidate:
- the opportunity to work within a caring, creative and dynamic school culture, with a dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic staff team
- the support of experienced governors who are committed to your ongoing professional development
- the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our wonderful and inspiring children
