Headteacher job summary
The Governors invite applications for the post of headteacher of our outstanding Church of England Primary School located on the Fylde Coast. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, inspirational and highly motivated headteacher with vision, who is child-focused and has the enthusiasm and commitment to continue to build on our success. Graded as Outstanding by Ofsted and Good in SIAMS, we are a proud Church of England Primary school enjoying close links with our church and community. The ideal candidate will continue to build our school culture and curriculum based on our Christian vision, taking account of the richness and diversity of the school community.
We are looking for someone who has:
• An active Christian commitment and is able to sustain and develop the Christian ethos and values of the school.
• A proven track record of effective leadership and management of people and a commitment to working in partnership with governors, staff, parents, other schools and the local community.
• A desire to maintain and enhance the existing strengths of the school, bringing inspirational drive and ambition for continual improvement that is demonstrated through improved outcomes for children.
• A clear vision which focuses on raising achievements and standards through a wide variety of teaching and learning experiences.
