The Governors of Blagrave Nursery School are looking to appoint an inspirational Headteacher for our well-established nursery school to build on our current successes and continue to drive the school forward. Situated in Tilehurst on the edge of Reading to start from September 2024. The role will involve 0.4 FTE of Teaching in the Nursery each week.
Blagrave Nursery School is a cornerstone of the local community providing high quality early years education for children aged 3 to 4. The Nursery School prides itself on nurturing every individual child to achieve the highest standard of education and welfare.
We are a fully subscribed standalone Nursery School offering 40 full time equivalent places.
The Governors are looking to appoint an individual who:
- is passionate about the fundamental importance of Children’s learning in Early Years.
- would like to continue a career in our GOOD (Ofsted Nov 2023) Nursery School.
- will act as a visible advocate for our school within the wider community.
- is a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills, who ensures everyone is included and supported.
- is a strategic thinker, who enjoys shaping and delivering a broad, balanced, innovative, and creative curriculum to meet the needs of our children
