Job summary

 Blockley Church of England Primary School (Blockley Educational Academy) is a popular and happy school of 144 pupils situated in the heart of a stunning village within the North Cotswolds. In our most recent Ofsted inspection we retained our status as a “Good” school. Our Headteacher is retiring and the governors are looking to appoint a leader with passion and vision to take the school forward.

The new Headteacher will be:
• committed to developing the Christian ethos of the school
• passionate about teaching and learning for all children
• an outstanding team leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• a strategic thinker with a vision for high behavioural and academic standards
• an excellent classroom practitioner
• an analytical thinker able to assess and monitor data and implement change as required
• committed to rewarding partnerships with families and the wider community
