What skills and experience we're looking for
Our Governing Board is seeking to appoint a Headteacher who is committed to ensuring long-term continuity of school leadership while supporting all children, parents/carers and staff within a dynamic and changing education landscape. This includes our desire to meet with candidates who have a relentless motivation to ensure the highest standards are upheld, and with a profile seeking to always refine, improve and share best practice amongst peers.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide clear, ambitious, and inclusive strategic leadership for the whole school
- Sustain and further enhance exceptional standards of teaching, learning, & curriculum
- Ensure consistently high outcomes for all, incl. disadvantaged pupils & those with SEND
- Lead a positive, caring, and aspirational school culture rooted in strong values
- Work effectively with governors, parents, and the wider community

Caroline Haslett is a large school with a small school ethos, who remained judged as Outstanding by Ofsted. Our children join us in Foundation Stage aged 4 and leave us in Year 6, aged 11.
